Airplane food for kids?

November 6th, 2009 by

Are you wondering what to feed your kids on your next airplane trip?  Food choices in the airport are limited and let’s face it airplane meals, the few that still exist aren’t very kids friendly.   So here are a few ideas to give your kids a healty and warm meal on that long flight.

Here’s a tip. Think hot water.  Yes, hot water.  For breakfast?  Think instant oatmeal which comes in convenient pre-packaged cups and cooks with hot water in minutes.

How about lunch?   Try Cup Noodles or Cup-A-Soup.  Want something a little fancier?  Try dehydrated camping meals.  There’s Macaroni & Cheese, Noodles & Chicken, Vegetable Lasanga just to name a few choices.  No more pretzel and peanut meals for your kids!  Feed them a warm and healthy meal on board.  Just don’t forget the spoon!
