Traveling With Kids

Getting prepared for a trip with the family takes a lot of organization and preparation. You finally get on the road or on the airplane and you just want to have a nap or relax and read a magazine for a while. Well, when traveling with infants and toddlers that probably won’t happen, so with that in mind you need to come up with a plan to help the trip be as much fun as possible for everyone.

A few key things to keep in mind when planning activities and toys for your trip are: 1) Young children typically have a pretty short attention span so variety is important. 2) Your children just love to spend time and interact with you - plan some activities where you are all interacting together (we’ll get to those ideas in a moment) and 3) you know your child and you know what makes them happy bring along lots of thing they love to do and maybe try a few new things that fit in with who they are.
