This page will help you to know how to use the functionalities of the site.

• Page Elements

  

  The elements that can be seen in a GTM web page are the header,content area,sidebar,advetisements and the footer

  • header

    

    The header area contains all the major links essential for the navigation and function of the site. The links include events, press center, search, tag, login, post an event, subscribe and register. In the header, there is also a search form for events

  • content area

    The content area is where function or information you requested is being presented.

  • sidebar

    

    The sidebar contains the calendar, sponsor banners and a contact GTM area

    • Calendar - clicking a date on the calendar enables you to view the events on that same date.
    • Sponsor Banners - Banners from GTM media partners.
    • Contact GTM Form - enables you to send email messages to GTM.

  • advertisements

    The advertisements areas are where advertisements can be found.

  • footer

  The footer contains more links for GTM transactions

  • Home - a link to the main page.
  • Link to us - if you want to have a GTM link to your site, click on this link to find out how.
  • Contact us - if you want to contact GTM, click this link. The mailing form located at the side bar can also be used.
  • About us - a link to a page which contains information about GTM.
  • RSS - for RSS feeds.
  • Press Release - a link to the press center.
  • FAQs - a link to this page.

• Events

  

  Clicking the events link will enable you to view lists of ongoing, upcoming and ongoing events. Each list have links directing to an event or a list of events, for example, clicking a date would direct you to a list of events occurring on that date while clicking on a singe event will direct you to the details of that event.

  • Posting an event

    By clicking the "post an event" link on the header to your left, you will be directed to a page where you can input the details of your event. Fields in bold letters are required by GTM for your event/s to be accepted.

  • Viewing event details

    Just click on the name of the event to view its details.

  • Viewing events with the same date of a certain event

    Clicking the date of the event on the list will direct you to a list of events with the same date.

  • Viewing events with the same location of a certain event

    Clicking the location/s of the event on the list will direct you to a list of events with the same location.

  • Viewing events by category

    Clicking the "view category list" will lead you to a page where categorized tags are listed. Clicking on a tag will present you a list of events related to that tag.

• Press Center

  Clicking the "press center" link will lead you a page where press releases are presented. For press releases contact GTM.

• Search

  

  Placing your mouse over the search tab will allow you to choose whether to search events by category or by location.

  • Search by category

    Clicking on category will lead you to a page where categorized tags are listed. Clicking a tag will give you a list of corresponding events.

  • Search by location

    Clicking on location will lead you to a page with a list of countries. Below the list are two search forms in which you will be able to search events either by location or date.

• Tags

  You will be directed to the tags page after clicking the "tags" link found in the header. The page contains a search form for tags, another search form for events containing a specific tag/s and a list of popular tags. The size of the tag tells the quantity of events related to it and clicking a tag will give you a list of events which corresponds to that tag.

• Subscribe

  

  There are two ways how to subscribe. First one is by clicking the link at the header area and the other is by clicking the other link below a list of results after you searched for a tag in the tags page. The links will lead you to a page where you can submit a form for subscribing for updates on the new events with the query/tag which you specified.

• Login

  

  Clicking the login link will lead you to the login page. This is where users login with their username and password. You have to register first before you can login.

  • Register

    After clicking the register link, you will be directed to the registration page after accepting the terms of agreement. There you will be presented with a form in which you will fill up your details. You need to fill up the required firelds to be able to submit the form.

• RSS

  

  There are two ways of availing the RSS feeds of GTM. First is by clicking the RSS link on the footer and the second is clicking RSS icons on some sections of the site. Instructions are provided on the page directed by the link.
